My belief

By addressing spinal misalignments and optimizing nervous system function, we can support the body's innate ability to heal and maintain health. I see my role as working in harmony with the animal's body, helping to restore balance and function to the nervous system, which can have far-reaching benefits for their overall health, function, performance and vitality. While staying within my scope of practice, I aim to complement the work of veterinarians. By working together, we can address musculoskeletal issues, improve mobility, propel performance & enhance the overall well-being of animal patients. My goal as an AVCA certified animal chiropractor is to provide gentle, safe & effective chiropractic care that helps animals & their owners live healthier & happier lives.

The co-management of treatment for animals by Veterinarians & Chiropractors is important for several reasons:

  1. Comprehensive Care: Veterinarians and chiropractors each bring unique skills and perspectives to animal healthcare. Working together allows for a more comprehensive approach, addressing both conventional and alternative treatment options.

  2. Improved Outcomes: By combining their expertise, veterinarians and chiropractors can create more effective treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of the animal. This can lead to improved outcomes and a higher quality of life for the animal.

  3. Safety: Collaboration between veterinarians and chiropractors helps ensure that treatments are safe and appropriate for the animal's condition. This is especially important when considering factors such as medications, existing health issues, and potential contraindications.

  4. Education and Awareness: Co-management can help educate both professionals and pet owners about the benefits of integrative care. This can lead to increased awareness and acceptance of chiropractic care as a valuable treatment option for animals.

  5. Holistic Approach: By working together, veterinarians and chiropractors can take a more holistic approach to animal health, considering not just the physical symptoms but also the animal's overall well-being and quality of life.
